SupportDesignedAroundYourChild

At Every Sensation, we understand that every child is different. Some children experience the world more intensely, find certain environments overwhelming, or need additional support to develop key skills. Our children's services are designed to provide a safe, structured, and nurturing space where children can be supported to grow and thrive.

Whether your child has been referred by a professional or you are exploring options as a family, you can be confident that our team will take the time to understand your child's individual needs and provide the right level of support.

WhoWeSupport

We work with children and young people who may experience a wide range of challenges, including:

Sensory processing differences

Emotional regulation difficulties

Autism spectrum conditions

ADHD and attention difficulties

Developmental delay

Anxiety and low confidence

Communication and social interaction challenges

Physical coordination and motor skill needs

We welcome children regardless of whether they have a formal diagnosis. If you feel your child would benefit from specialist support, we encourage you to get in touch.

OurChild-CentredApproach

Every session is built around the child. Here is how we work:

Observation

We begin by carefully observing how each child responds to their environment, building a clear picture of their strengths, preferences, and areas where they need support.

Safe Structure

We create predictable, structured sessions that provide security and a sense of calm — helping children feel safe enough to engage and explore.

Play and Movement

Through purposeful play, creative activities, and guided movement, we support development in a way that feels natural, enjoyable, and meaningful to each child.

Adjusting and Evolving

We continuously monitor progress and adapt our approach, ensuring that every session remains responsive to the child's changing needs and development.

OurCoreServices

Our children's services are organised around three key pillars, each designed to address different aspects of a child's development and wellbeing.

Sensory Support and Regulation

Many children experience the world through heightened or reduced sensory responses. Our sensory support sessions help children develop a better understanding of their sensory needs and build strategies for regulation.

Using our purpose-built sensory rooms and specialist equipment, we guide children through carefully designed activities that promote sensory awareness, tolerance, and self-regulation.

  • Sensory exploration and integration activities
  • Calming and alerting strategies
  • Tactile, vestibular, and proprioceptive input
  • Multi-sensory room sessions

Emotional Wellbeing and Regulation

Helping children understand and manage their emotions is a vital part of their development. Our emotional wellbeing sessions provide a safe space for children to explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build emotional resilience.

Through guided activities, creative expression, and therapeutic play, we support children to recognise emotions, communicate their needs, and develop the confidence to navigate challenging situations.

  • Emotion identification and expression
  • Self-regulation techniques and coping strategies
  • Confidence and self-esteem building
  • Therapeutic play and creative expression

Developmental and Functional Skills

Supporting children to develop the practical skills they need for everyday life is central to what we do. Our developmental sessions focus on building functional abilities through purposeful, engaging activities.

From fine and gross motor skills to communication, social interaction, and independence, we work with children to strengthen the foundations they need to participate more fully in daily life.

  • Fine and gross motor development
  • Communication and social skill building
  • Coordination and balance activities
  • Independence and life skills
